Another milestone for Apo. One detail I like - the squarish reflection on the spheres, it adds the interest of a new shape, though makes me think "micro-" as opposed to "landscape". A deliberate choice on your part I expect?

I hoped the DOF would make it look micro actually. Thanks for the support! :)

No....seriously...heh...I actually think that kicks the crap out of anything I've ever seen UF do. I can't wait to try out the new 3D hack.

Sorry, but we're going to have to agree to disagree about that. UF totally kicks Apo's ass, imho.

That's cool.....I know UF has more versatility...but to me, it's what the artist does with the tool, that's the most important...and actually, I see pieces from Apo that I would put on my wall far sooner than most of the stuff put out with UF.

Just out of curiosity, have you tried UF? I mean, really tried it? I see lots of Apo in your gallery but that doesn't mean you don't play with other programs.

I recently bought UF, because it DID impress me enough to buy it. I haven't been able to spend the proper amount of time yet, learning....but I'm definitely excited about learning to use it. I certaintly didn't mean to slight UF....I've just seen over these months, that Apophysis can put out something just as beautiful as UF....with the right artist creating it. :)
